THERE has still to be any announcements made this week about new players signing-in at Yeovil Town as the January transfer window continues.
While clubs across the land are being rumoured to be linked with various players, things have remained pretty tight-lipped at Huish Park.
Boss Russell Slade has said that he is talking to players, but has yet to make any formal announcements about new arrivals.
One player who turned out for a Yeovil Reserves X1 yesterday in the 1-0 defeat at old rivals Weymouth, however, was Queen's Park Rangers defender Dominic Shimmin.
The 20-year-old former Arsenal trainee, who joined QPR in March 2005, has failed to make an impact at Loftus Road and recently spent a loan spell at Yeovil's Coca-Cola League One rivals Bournemouth.
But whether he could be coming to Yeovil on a longer basis is unknown.
It might be unlikely considering Slade has said that his main priority is to boost Yeovil's striking options following the departure of James Walker yesterday leaving him with just two senior attacking players in his squad.
