A CHEF and a fitness trainer are among the stars of the Royal Marines 2015 calendar unveiled last week.

The publication, which raises money for the military charity Go Commando, features former Marines in cheeky poses.

Among them are Mr June, Simon Atkinson, owner of the Chez Amis restaurant in Taunton and Mr October, proprietor of Cross Fit gym, in Taunton.

There’s also Mr March, Royal Marines veteran Arnie Thacker, pictured pulling a pint of special RM350 Commando Hoofing Brew, at Cotleigh Brewery, in Wiveliscombe.

And Mr April, Mark Time, now a successful author whose second novel in a three-part trilogy is about his time at 40 Commando, based at Norton Manor Camp.
