Van destroyed in roadside blaze at Thurloxton
A TIPPER van has been destroyed in a roadside fire this morning, Friday, May 1.
Firefighters were called out to a vehicle "well alight" in a layby on the A38 in the Thurloxton area at 9.26am.
Police also attended as fire crews, wearing breathing apparatus, tackled the blaze as other motorists drove by.
The cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental.
