THE opening of a second Screwfix branch in Taunton will create 11 new jobs.

The outlet on the Cornishway West estate in Galmington starts trading next Thursday, September 17.

Tradesmen and DIYers will get the chance to win a TV and are being offered a 10% discount until the weekend.

Store manager Neil Fear said: “We’ve created 11 brand new vacancies and have employed local people from around the Taunton-Galmington area.

“Our new team includes people of all ages and levels of experience, but the most important requirement is that they have the right attitude and can offer superb customer service.”

Screwfix already has another store on Taunton’s Crown Industrial Estate.
