A VAN caught fire on a busy main road in yesterday evening's (Monday, February 1) rush hour.
Firefighters were called to the incident in Wellington Road shortly after 6pm.
The fire, in the engine bay of the vehicle, had been put out by the owner using a dry powder extinguisher before their arrival
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "The cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental."
