TWO cars suffered severe damage on Dunster Steep today (Friday, April 8) after catching fire in the car park.
Firefighters from Minehead attended the scene at around 4pm and found two cars already well alight parked adjacently to each other in the public car park.
The crews managed to quickly extinguish the fires using hose reel jets and breathing apparatus.
Both cars were severely damaged but a spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said the cause of the fire was accidental.
