A CAR was engulfed in flames during an early-morning fire near Minehead.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service was called to Cutcombe Hill in Timberscombe at 2.29am this morning.
Two appliances from Minehead were sent to the blaze and upon arrival, confirmed a car was well alight.
Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
It is not yet known what caused the fire.
