A TRANSIT van was badly damaged by fire in an incident near Wellington.
The fire and rescue service received several calls to reports of a vehicle ablaze at the Chelston interchange at Junction 26 of the M5 at 9.22pm yesterday (Sunday).
The van was well alight by the time firefighters arrived on the scene and they set about putting it out using breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a foam branch.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "The cause of the fire was accidental which resulted in the van being severely damaged."
