FIREFIGHTERS were called after a tractor fire near Minehead.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called at 3.50pm today ( May 23) after reports of a fire on the A396 between Bridgetown and Wheddon Cross.
One fire appliance from Dulverton and one from Minehead were mobilised to attend the incident.b
On arrival, crews confirmed that a tractor was well alight on the highway.
Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, a compressed air foam jet and a thermal imaging camera.
The tractor was severely damaged by fire.
The cause was believed to be accidental.
