THERE are just days left for people to have their say over the future of library services across Somerset.
In January, Somerset County Council launched a consultation on how the services will be run in the future in a bid to cut costs.
Options being considered include finding community groups to run services, or potentially closing some libraries, with the likes of North Petherton, Highbridge, Ilminster and Wiveliscombe under threat.
Thousands have had their say, according to the council, but with the consultation due to end on Wednesday, June 13, time is running out for people to have their say.

Cllr David Hall, cabinet member with responsibility for libraries, said: “I’d like to thank everyone who has completed the survey so far. Your voice really does count and once the consultation ends next Wednesday, the results will be analysed and final decisions will be made later this year.
"I urge everyone who is yet to have their say to complete the survey online or call into your local library.
"With less than a week to go, this really is your last chance to tell us your thoughts on our proposals."
Residents who wish to take part in the survey can do so online, at www.somerset.gov.uk/librariesconsultation, or call in to their local library.
