TAUNTON Bus Station remains closed after police found the body of a man in the early hours of the morning.
Buses of Somerset closed the station this morning after the body of a man in his late 20s or 30s was found near Goodland Gardens.
The death of the man is being treated as 'unexplained'.
Avon and Somerset Police were called to the scene at around 5.30am this morning (August 7).
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "We were called to Taunton Bus Station at 5.35am following reports of the body of a man, in his late 20s or early 30s, found near Goodland Gardens.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
"The area is cordoned off while investigations are ongoing."

Although the station has been closed, services are still running from Castle Way.
The bus operator posted on its Facebook page: "Due to an ongoing Avon and Somerset Constabulary incident Taunton Bus Stn is currently closed.
"Services that would normally use the bus stn are terminating/starting journeys on Castle Way."
Representatives at the station said 'no comment'.
Buses of Somerset has confirmed the station will likely be closed for the rest of the day while police carry out the investigation.

A section of Goodland Gardens is also cordoned off, believed to be in connection with the investigation.
