FIREFIGHTERS from across the county worked together to tackle a barn fire near Taunton.
Four fire engines from Taunton, Wellington and Bridgwater rushed to the scene in Angersleigh at around 3.15pm yesterday (July 28).
A water carrier from Bridgwater and a welfare unit from Crediton also attended.
A barn containing a forklift and a tractor was on fire.
The fire crews worked throughout the afternoon to tackle the blaze, using equipment such as hose reel jets, main jets, compressed air foam jets and a telehandler.
The firefighters were finished working at the scene at around 9pm.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "The incident involved one single storey agricultural building measuring 20m x 30m containing wood, it was 50 per cent damaged by fire.
"The cause of the fire was accidental."
