A CAR was destroyed in a roadside fire last night (Sunday).
Fire crews were called to put out the flames in the incident on the A378 at Curry Rivel at 10.41pm.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Upon arrival crews confirmed the vehicle to be well alight and got to work to extinguish the fire."
Police also attended the incident, although the cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental.
