A COMBINE harvester was damaged after catching fire.
Firefighters from Yeovil were called to the scene, in Manor Farm Road, Mudford, at around 10.45pm last night (August 12), along with police.
"Two fire appliances and the water carrier from Yeovil attended a combine harvester on fire on a farm," said a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
"Crews arrived on scene and got to work putting the fire out using using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet. Crews also used a thermal imaging camera, small tools and a triple extension ladder."
The cause of the fire was deemed as accidental ignition, causing moderate damage to the vehicle, the spokesperson added.
