THREE vehicles were damaged by fire in the early hours of yesterday morning (August 30).
Firefighters were called to Spring Gardens, Frome, at just before 1.30am after reports of a car on fire - but on arrival, the crew found two vehicles well alight, with another also damaged.
"On arrival, the Incident commander confirmed that two vehicles were well alight and got crews to work to tackle the fire using a hose reel jet and thermal imaging camera," said a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
"The fire caused approximately 100% damage to one vehicle, 80% damage to a second vehicle and slight fire damage to a third vehicle."
Police were in attendance, however, the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, the spokesperson added.
