FIRE crews have been battling a dumper truck fire in a field this lunchtime (Wednesday).
The six-tonne vehicle caught light at Sandys Moor, Wiveliscombe, shortly before 2pm.
A fire engine from Wiveliscombe and two from Wellington, as well as a water carrier from Bridgwater, attended the incident.
The truck was 80 per cent damaged by the fire, which was extinguished using compressed air foam.
