A SOMERSET MP has revealed the secret behind his incredible eight stone weight loss.
David Warburton, who has been the Conservative representative for Somerton and Frome in Parliament since 2015, claims he didn't even go on a diet to shift the pounds.
He put it down to working out on the running machines and pumping iron.
And, he added, drinking gin.
Mr Warburton, 55, has posted on Twitter a before image of his previously chubby self alongside an up to date svelte look in tight-fitting shirt and jeans.
He wrote: Not really into selfie posting, but today a bit chuffed to hit 6 stone #weightloss since March plus 2 stone before that. Eight stone gone.
"'Fat mass' <18% and 'muscle mass' >78%.
"No dieting - lots of treadmill and weights.. and, er, gin.
"Who knew it would be fun..!?"
