WORK is progressing on a new drive-thru Starbucks on the edge of Taunton.
The coffee shop is being constructed on the Deane Retail Park, at Hankridge, in the car park area outside Halfords.
It comes after a planning application for the new outlet was approved last year by Somerset West and Taunton Council.

The outlet will be accessible by cars driving through, as well as via footpaths around the retail site.
It will also feature bike stands and the applicant, BAPT Limited, says the building has been "designed to be attractive and modern in appearance".
The development comes after the town centre branch of Starbucks, behind the Market House in Taunton, closed in June last year.
The new outlet is likely to open some time in the New Year.
