A VAN fire in the countryside spread to an adjacent hedge.
Firefighters from Williton and Wiveliscombe attended the incident in Brompton Regis shortly after 7pm yesterday (Tuesday, February 1).
The van driver had called in the incident.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "On arrival, crews confirmed one van was well alight and the fire was encroaching the hedgerow.
"Crews confirmed they extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one CAFS (compressed air foam system) jet and one thermal imaging camera."
