A TRACTOR and other farm machinery have been destroyed in a countryside blaze.
Fire control sent two engines from Minehead Fire Station and one from Williton to the incident in Treborough, off the Bishops Lydeard to Minehead road, shortly before 6pm yesterday (Thursday, July 14).
No one was injured in the fire.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "On arrival (of the crews), the tractor and machinery were well alight on the side of the highway.
"All occupants were accounted for safe and well.
"Crews got to work using two hose reel jets and one cafs jet.
"Two breathing apparatus sets were also in use.
"The tractor was extinguished and crews continued to dampen down tyres and plastic parts.
"There was 100 per cent fire damage to vehicle and attached implement."
