SCORES of runners and walkers took part in the 400th Taunton Parkrun in Longrun Meadow on Saturday (October 29).
The celebration event was the spookiest yet with many participants turning up in Hallowe'en-themed fancy dress.
As well as the ghosts and ghouls, the Grim Reaper also put in an appearance- at the ninth anniversary race.
The aim of Parkrun is to get people of all ages and abilities exercising out in the open air in a "supportive, non-challenging environment".
The group has also recently started incorporating a Parkwalk initiative.
People taking part can run or walk the 5k course in Longrun Meadow.
A team of 20 volunteers give up their time at the Saturday event, with between 200 and 300 people taking part for free most weekends.
