A MAN died after a medical incident at a shop in Street.
The incident took place yesterday (December 20) near a McColl’s shop on West End.
The ambulance service was called at 11.18am and Avon and Somerset Police attended the scene around 1.50pm.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "The ambulance service has made us aware of a medical incident at a shop in West End, Street, at around 1.50pm today (Tuesday 20 December).
"Sadly, a man was pronounced dead a short time later. Our thoughts are with the man's family during this difficult time."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 11.18am on Tuesday, December 20 to an incident in Street.
"We sent a double-crewed land ambulance, an operations officer and an air ambulance.”
