A car was left completely damaged following a fire on Bristol Road last night.
A fire crew from Wells was called to Ston Easton at around 11.30pm last night, (October 28), following reports that a car was on fire.
The vehicle was well alight, A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "We got to work with one breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet. Crew also requested a second fire appliance for water. Second crew from Wells was mobilized.
"Our crews extinguished the car with one breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, a safety jet, and a thermal image camera."
The car sustained 100% damage with no casualties involved. The cause of fire was accidental.
