WELLINGTON'S second largest employer has given its backing to the Trains for Wellington (T4W) campaign launched earlier this year.
Wellington School headmaster Martin Reader said a new station would be good for the community, encouraging more people to live or work in the town.
Local Conservative Parliamentary candidate Mark Formosa, who launched the campaign, said Network Rail officials had accepted an invitation to visit Wellington in the New Year to discuss the campaign.
