A TAUNTON woman had a spooky surprise after spotting the image of a skeleton on one of her holiday snaps.
Sharon Green contacted the County Gazette this week after spotting the ghostly outline on a picture from the Niddry Street Vaults in Edinburgh – known for paranormal activity.
Sharon is convinced the picture shows the outline of a ghost, and has sent it to TV show, Most Haunted, and to Liverpool University for analysis.
She said: “We were told not to take cameras or phones into one of the most haunted vaults as so many people had complained their memory cards had been wiped.
“But I took the picture before and thought nothing of it.
“When I looked closely later I could see a skeleton slumped in the corner - I believe I have captured a full manifestation of a ghost.”
Sharon added: “I had been zooming in on a section of light in the picture and saw the skeleton below.
“I passed it on to see if I was seeing things but everyone said they could see the skeleton.
“My husband’s completely sceptical but I believe it is the image of a ghost.”
Can you see the figure? Do you think it’s the image of a ghost or a trick of the light?
