His family wish to give special thanks to everyone who helped Gerald during his illness at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, and to Mr Tony Vaughen-Reed and Mr. Peter Manning for their great kindness to him. They would also like to thank everyone who sent messages of sympathy, attended the funeral service and for the donations received for MacMillan Cancer Support. Please accept this as the only acknowledgment.
