SIMPSON Dr Robert "Cyril" Passed away peacefully on the 19th April 2020, aged 84 years. For many years a General Practitioner at Ilminster and in later years of retirement living in Taunton. A much loved husband of the late Joan Winifred Simpson, dearly loved father to Patrick, Robert, Brendan and Andrew, father in law to Jayne and Michelle and Grandfather to Phoebe, Georgia, Lucy and Luke. Cyril will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. The family express their gratitude to Dr Austin and staff at the Meadows Surgery, Ilminster, Dr Hesford and staff at College Way Surgery, Taunton, and the caring and attentive staff at The Manor Care Home, Taunton. Private cremation. A memorial service will take place at a later date when possible and a separate notice in this paper will confirm same.
