ARIES Dave Known affectionately as Pops to many, died peacefully on 11th May aged 79. Dave was a keen sportsman, Oxford United fan, and devoted family man - particularly to his beloved grandsons. During his 40 years in Taunton, he became a larger than life character in the local community, specifically in his support to grass roots football. A private funeral for immediate family will take place on 27th May at 14:00 at the Taunton Crematorium. Rather than flowers, donations are welcomed to the British Lung Foundation.
