HODGES Christine of Taunton passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on the 14th of August 2020, aged 59 years. Chris will be dearly missed by her loving husband Phil, daughter Jamie, son Lee, her grandchildren Harry, Charlie, Rosabelle & Reginald, along with all her other family and friends. A celebration of Christine's life will be held at Taunton Deane Crematorium on Thursday the 3rd of September at 1:00pm. Christine requested bright colours be worn to her service, her favourite was yellow. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Christine if desired for the Beacon Centre & the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance may be left online through the Quantock Funeral Services website or forwarded to: Quantock Funeral Services, 69 Staplegrove Road, Taunton, Somerset, TA1 1DG. Sign in to add a tributeI am so very sorry to hear the news of Chris's passing. She was such a good woman and was devoted to you all and her grandchildren. It was a pleasure to get to know Chris through our work at Bishops Hull House, ( formally Learning South West).I know her as a courageous woman who battled all the physical odds to stay close and with her family for as long as possible. I am comforted that she passed away with you all at home as I know she would have wanted this. Thank you all for caring for her so well , she would be so proud. Sending my kindest thoughts and good wishes . Paula x
