SPARKS Leslie Charles ['Les'] of Southwood Grove, Taunton and previously of Ilminster. Passed peacefully away on Sunday 29th November 2020 aged 90 years. Les will be greatly missed by Jean, his loving wife of over 68 years. A devoted and loving father to Brian and Kevin. He will also be sadly missed by his four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and other immediate family members and friends. A Thanksgiving Service will be held at the Temple Methodist Church, Upper High Street, Taunton, TA1 3PY on Tuesday 15th December 2020 at 12 noon followed by interment at Broadway Parish Church, Near Ilminster 2.00pm. As a result of COVID restrictions and limited numbers currently, there will be another formal 'Celebration of Les' Life' sometime in late 2021. If you might be interested in attending at a later date please email an expression of interest to lessparks1930@gmail.com. The exact date will be advised nearer the time and when considered safe to do so. Donations, if desired, will be collected for The British Heart Foundation and Dementia UK.
