AINSWORTH-SMITH The Revd Canon Ian, MBE of Milverton, Somerset, died peacefully on 9 March 2021 in his eightieth year. Husband of Jean, father of Mark and Richard, grandfather of Angus, Harry, Emma and Finlay. Due to the current restrictions a private funeral service will be held at St Michael's Church, Milverton, on Thursday 1 April at 2pm with the Committal at the Church Gates. All friends welcome. If desired, donations may be sent to Anthony James, funeral director, at Wiveliscombe TA4 2TB, 01984-624149 to be shared between Toilet Twinning and Sheldon (Cheques payable to TFS Donation a/c)

I’ve just stumbled across this sad news. I was fortunate enough to work with Ian when I worked for the Health Research Authority. I will always remember his kindness and support, I’m so glad I had the pleasure of working alongside of him. My condolences to all of his family and friends x
