HARRIS Stephen Norman, long serving French teacher at Castle School, Taunton for 23 years before retiring due to ill health, passed away at Musgrove Park Hospital on Friday 21st May 2021 aged 70 years Stephen will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service will take place on 14th June at Taunton Crematorium at 10.00am. Donations in memory of Stephen are for RNLI

I am so sad to hear this news about un Prof formidable. Gone far too soon. I have good memories of some of the amusing quips Mr Harris used to come out with and his fruitless campaign to get me to smile more! As Paul Fudge says - repose en paix, M Harris.

A great teacher, who brought Jean Paul, Claudette and Marie France in to my life and stepped up to the plate when we needed a staff member to help in our school variety show performance back in the mid 1980s. Repose en paix Monsieur Harris un grand homme
