BRANCHER Chris of Donkey Walking Adventures near Beaminster died peacefully after a short illness on 17 August 2021, aged 72 years. Dearly loved partner of Susan, much loved by Sam, Racqui, Rod and Nick. Funeral service will take place at St Mary's Church, Beaminster on Thursday, 2 September at 12noon. Family flowers only please donations, if desired, for Weldmar Hospicecare which may be sent c/o A J Wakely & Sons, 7 North Street, Beaminster DT6 3DZ

Sorry to hear the sad news about Chris. We have known Chris for many years. What a lovely chap , he was always smiling. Chris taught both our sons to drive. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with Susan and the family. RIP Chris.

He also taught so many people in Taunton and Somerset to drive, was a very popular pub landlord and was a very friendly likeable chap. RIP mate xx
