CROSBY Doctor John Passed away peacefully at his home, on Saturday 18th September 2021, aged 83 years. Beloved Husband of Catherine, Father to Gill, Jen and Liz, much loved Grandfather and Great Grandfather. A service to celebrate John's life, will take place at The Church of St Andrew & St Mary, Pitminster, on Friday 8th October at 2.30pm. No flowers please, but donations if desired in memory of John, for Parkinson's UK, may be sent c/o Taunton Funeral Service, 55 Bridge Street, Taunton, TA1 1TP Tel: 01823 321077.

Dr Crosby was my parents Doctor when I was small, I remember him so well, cartwheeling across his office when I was little and suddenly he and my dad hearing a bang which was my ear drum. He and his wife were also my landlords of my first house I rented in Heather close. My mum recently passed and I'm creating a book of memories and I suddenly remembered Dr Crosby and found this in Google, I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He was so very kind to my parents and I and was a great man. I'm 43 now so he must have been good for me to remember him even now.

Such a true Gentleman, our Doctor for many many years. Rest in peace.

My thoughts are with the family of such a great GP. I had asthma in the days before inhalers, and Dr Crosby looked after me so well for many years. He was an amazing family Doctor and is still talked about, even though so many years have passed. Very fond memories of a true gentleman. With love Paula Powell (nee Thomas)
