TRUBY Joseph Daniel aged 88 years, passed away on September 15th. Much loved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Funeral service to take place at Gloucester Crematorium on Friday October 15th at 2pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired may be sent to Help for Hero's c/o Fred Stevens Funeral Directors, New Market Road, Nailsworth GL6 0DQ

You do indeed have the right Joe, he was my Grandfather, I will pass on your message to my Nan. She will be pleased to hear of him remembered so fondly.
Grandad talked a lot about his time working at the Gazette, he really enjoyed his career I think!

If this is the same Joe Truby who worked at the County Gazette for many years in the 70s and 80s happy memories down in the Machine room/printing press, haven’t seen you for many years but happy memories, love and condolences to Ann.
