WENSLEY Bertie Wensley, Bertie James, passed away on Saturday, 19th March 2022, surrounded by his family. Bertie was much loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A West Country farmer through and through, he was guided by the core principles of hard work, integrity and respect for nature throughout his life. Those who knew him were also entertained by his extemsive stories and sense of humour. Bertie's family warmly invite you to a Celebration of his Life at Taunton Deane Crematorium on Monday, 4th April 2022 at 2:30pm. Bertie requested that to celebrate his life, attendees do not wear black, but rather the bright colors of nature. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bertie's memory may be made to Childrens Hospice South West, and left in the retiring collection or sent c/o Thomas Brothers Funeral Directors, High Street, Wellington, TA21 8RF.
