CLARKE John Lewis of Kingston St Mary Passed away peacefully at Oake Meadows Nursing Home, Taunton on 17 June 2022 with his son Pete at his side. His loss will be felt by his two sons, Tom and Pete, their wives, his five grandchildren and his wider family. Sadly, his wife Jane recently passed away in April this year. He will be greatly missed in Kingston St Mary where he had been the Chairman of the Parish Council and Village Hall committee. He had a long career as a senior road engineer, and was a lifelong shooting enthusiast. A Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army (Royal Engineers), he led the TA shooting team for many years. Funeral at St Mary's Parish church, Kingston St Mary, at 2pm on Wednesday 13 July 2022 and afterwards at the Village Hall.
