RYE Josephine (Josie) Formerly of Taunton Passed away peacefully on 30th January 2024 aged 83 years. Much loved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Funeral Service will take place at Taunton Crematorium on Monday 26th February 2024 at 1:20pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Josie for the Samaritans may be sent c/o A J Wakely & Sons 33 Sparrow Road Yeovil BA21 4BT Tel: 01935 479913 (Please make cheques payable to the charity).

Josie taught both my girls at Ruishton in the 80's giving them a solid foundation for their onward paths. Josie was so kind, patient and encouraging and her musical talents were such a benefit to the school producing amazing concerts and plays. She touched the lives of so many children and I know she is remembered with affection by many. Sincere condolences to all the family.

She was a wonderful caring lady.
