FIREFIGHTERS had to deal with a barn fire this afternoon at Corfe.
The alarm was raised at just after 4.30pm and two fire engines from Taunton and a water carrier from Bridgwater were sent out.
Crews confirmed that they had found a barn well alight and got to work in dealing with the situation.
The barn suffered 20 per cent damage by heat and 60 per cent damage by smoke.
