STUDENTS and staff at Taunton School are celebrating their International Baccalaureate results which were released today.
Headmaster Dr John Newton said: "Once more, I am delighted by our IB results.
"The average diploma pass mark of 35 points, coupled with some outstanding individual performances, is a real credit to the students and the staff.
"I am particularly delighted with Jeremy Soper, day pupil from Taunton, whose top mark of 45 out of 45 points – well ahead of four or five A*s at A level - is proof that we are a high quality academic institution that brings the very best out of the brightest students in the world."
