THREE people have been arrested following a burglary in Taunton over the weekend.
Police say a Mercedes car was stolen on Saturday evening from a property in Taunton and the people were arrested in the Chestnut Drive area.
The car was later traced and a 34-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle while a 22-year-old man on suspicion of burglary.
Witnesses reported several police cars and ambulances in Chestnut Drive on Sunday morning.
A Scientific Investigation van was parked in a lane just off the Blackbrook end of Chestnut Drive and an officer examined a silver Mercedes at the scene.
The three people remain in police custody being questioned.
