STUDENTS at Kingsmead School, Wiveliscombe, got a taste of the world of work with a dose of professional ‘speed dating’.
Year 10 teenagers spent five to ten minutes talking to professionals from law, marketing, engineering and more to help them build their knowledge of the wide variety of careers available after education.
Students found out first-hand what the industry professional’s job entailed before moving on to the next.
Head of applied learning Charlie Pierce said: “We really appreciate the time our visitors spent explaining to students, it was invaluable in helping our young people make informed choices about their futures.”
