Firefighters called to burning car in Taunton
CREWS were called to a car on fire outside the owner's house in Taunton today (October 17).
A fire engine from the town was sent to Calder Crescent shortly before 3pm.
Crews liased with the owner on arrival and confirmed the smoke was coming from the engine compartment.
After confirming a small electrical fire had occured, the crew damped the engine compartment down using one hose reel jet, before leaving duty of care with the owner, awaiting her mechanic.
