A 24-HOUR music marathon is being held this Saturday to raise money for victims of the war in Syria.
The event has been organised by Watchet resident, Pete Stevenson aka Pete the Poet to raise money for charity UNICEF.
Three more musicians are still needed to take part in the marathon.
Pete said: “I really encourage everyone to come along throughout the day or night and bring all your friends and family.
“There will be a sitar player and the community rap starts at 2pm on Saturday; drums and shakers will be available for everyone, especially the children.
“It would be wonderful if people could bake and bring along cakes to offer the visitors food and it would raise more money.”
The 24-hour music marathon will be taking place in The Sanctuary, Watchet, starting at 10am on Saturday October 26 and finishing at 10am the following day.
Admission is free however, donations would be welcome.
