POPULAR children’s character Mike the Knight will be making an appearance at Minehead Railway Station on May 3.
Mike, a ten-year-old ‘knight-in-training’ adventures across the land, determined to achieve his dream of being a knight and ‘doing it right’.
He will be meeting new friends on the platform at 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.40pm, 2pm and 3.15pm.
Other attractions on the day include free face painting for children and free trips around Minehead on vintage buses for the family.
Admission to the station is free but you can combine the experience with a trip on a steam train from Bishops Lydeard.
Fans of Mike and his adventures can also look forward to a Medieval Encampment at Stogumber Station held by Bowlore on July 26 and 27.
Would-be knights can learn more about the skills required.
