A TAUNTON schoolgirl and her friends have organised a fun-filled charity music and drama concert to raise money for two charities.
Rosie Stacey, 12, and classmates Alex Kitchen, Willow Oatley, Ben Fletcher and Cassie Grace will host the Good Times concert at their school, Taunton Preparatory, to raise cash for Cancer Research UK and Save the Children UK.
Rosie created the event following the recent death of her grandad and other relatives over recent years.
She and her friends have formed a committee to organise the concert.
The evening will consist of solo singers, choirs, duets, musicians and drama from pupils and teachers who are kindly offering their time for the cause.
Good Times gets underway at 6pm on Friday, May 2, and there will be a charity raffle and refreshments.
Tickets, priced at £4, can be bought from the school office on 01823-703307 or on the door.
