CHILDREN from Lyngford Park Primary School’s Rowan class in Taunton are pictured during a visit to the Gurkha 3 restaurant in Station Road.
The children wrote to the restaurant asking if they could visit to try some Nepalese cuisine as part of their studies about the Himalayas.
The children enjoyed a range of Indian and Nepalese dishes with Mia Churchley being singled out as the bravest pupil for trying many hot foods, including lime pickle.
Gemma Hill, year five teacher, said: “All the children thoroughly enjoyed their visit. The staff were more than accommodating and very welcoming to our children.”
