CHILDREN at Blackbrook Primary School have been working with artist Bozena Nesporova to design and create a sculpture at the front of their school.
The project began with children drawing their ideas of what they would like to see on the sculpture representing their school.
All classes were involved in building the sculpture using rubble and cement.
The school had many kind donations from parents and carers.
Viridor donated a skip of rubble, and Oakleaf Carpentry and Building provided a cement mixer along with donations of sand and cement.
Parents and friends of the school also helped with the construction.
Bozena is returning to the school to work on the mosaic design, with the help of children, parents and friends.
