A CONSTRUCTION firm has won an award for its “exceptionally considerate” approach at a building site in Taunton.
Balfour Beatty received a Considerate Constructor Scheme gold award for its Taunton Ham Dry Weather Flow project, where it has carried out a major extension to Wessex Water’s sewage treatment works.
The CCS said: “Despite the many challenges of this project, it represented a superb example of considerate construction in action.”
The Beech Block refurbishment at Richard Huish College, Taunton, achieved a bronze award.
