A MAN was left injured after being assaulted outside a Tesco store in Langport.
The incident happened at about 8.35am on Wednesday April 23 when a man was walking out of the Tesco store in North Road, Langport.
He was followed by a man and a woman, who had a dog with them. The suspect then confronted the victim, who walked away.
The suspect then ran up behind the victim and pushed him, leaving him lying on the ground.
Passers-by helped the injured man who suffered a broken hip in the incident.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen the incident. They are particularly keen to hear from motorists who may have been passing the area on the way into work.

A 36-year-old man from the Langport area has been arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
